Background Settings

The Scene tab allows you to customize the background for your interactive section. It offers four distinct background types — from slide-level colors to fully animated 3D scenes.

You can find this tab in the editor sidebar after selecting theText Hero Motion app.

Available Background Types

Under the Background Type setting in the Scene tab, you can choose one of the following:

1. None (Solid Color)
   Disables the global background.
   Instead, each slide can have its own background color set individually in the Slides tab.

2. Image
   Applies a single image background to the entire section — all slides share the same background.
   You can upload your own image or select one from the Wix media library. The image can be cropped and enhanced with parallax effects.
   💡 You can still set a slide background color to visually cover the image, if needed.

3. Presets
   Pre-designed visuals with adjustable main color and optional parallax effects.
   Like the image background, a 2D background is applied uniformly across all slides and cannot be changed per slide.
   💡 Slide backgrounds can still override the section background visually.

4. 3D Backgrounds
   Dynamic, animated backgrounds built with WebGL. Offers full color and behavior customization. These effects are also applied globally across all slides. Best used sparingly due to performance requirements.
